Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
- Design and build secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
- Work with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate repetitive business processes and workflows using Python.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to system architecture discussions.
- Stay updated with the latest Python frameworks and development trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of professional Python development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and API integrations.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth.
- Experience with Docker is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of Redis, Celery, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with GraphQL.
- Experience building automation scripts and web scraping tools.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of AI/ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is a plus.
